태석천 장로

1935 – 2021

Beloved Husband, Father, Church Member, and Colleague

Charles Tae was born on May 30, 1935 at 43 Jongnogu-Pyongdon, Seoul, South Korea, as the fifth son to Sung Sun Tae (father) and Joong Hee Lee (mother).

In October 24, 1964, he married Ran Yung Park, and in 1967 his son, Ray, was born. In 1971, he moved with his wife and son to the United States of America, and attended Central United Methodist Church in Los Angeles, California. In 1977, his daughter, Susan, was born.

He and his family moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for business in 1980. There, in 1982 he was ordained as an elder by the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church. 

He returned with his family to Los Angeles in 1984, where he became a member of Rosewood Korean United Methodist Church, which later combined with Wesley Glendale Korean United Methodist Church to become Grace Korean United Methodist Church. At the time of his passing, he was a retired elder at La Palma Korean United Methodist Church.

고 태석천장로 약력

1935년 5월30일 종로구 평동 43번지 서울에서 부친 태성선씨와 모친 이중이 사이에서 5째 아들로 태어남.

1964년 10월 24일에 박란영과 결혼하여 슬하에 아들 은호와 딸 미영이를 둠.

1971년 도미하여 중앙연합감리교회를 섬김.

1980년 사업차 오클라호마로 이주함.

1982년 오클라호마 연합 감리교 연회에서 장로 장립 받음.

1984년 로스엔젤레스로 이주 로즈웉 연합 감리교회를 섬기다가.

글렌데일 웨슬리 연합 감리교화와 합병되어 새로 몀명된 은혜 연합 감리교회를 섬김.

라팔마 연합 감리교회로 이전 하고 은퇴 장로로 몸 담고 있었음.
